INDIVIDUAL HEDONISTIC ORIENTATION IN THE CONTEXT OF VOLITIONAL SELF-REGULATION
The idea of hedonism originates from ancient times, when this concept was considered by famous philosophers such as Aristotle, Aristippus, Epicurus, Plato, etc. Studies of psychological foundations of hedonism remain topical due to the fact that in modern society influence of hedonism is increasing every year. There’re more and more people willing to feel the taste of life, to make all its manifestations pleasant and memorable, to live here and now, rather than put off happiness till tomorrow.
That is the situation in which the formation of modern adolescents occurs.
