SYNTHESIS OF REE ALUMINATES AND FERRITES NANOPOWDERS BY AQUEOUS COMBUSTION

Fine powders of REE aluminates and ferrites were obtained by aqueous combustion synthesis. Scanning electron microscopy and optical microscopy make clear that morphology of powders depends on Gly:NO3 ratio in initial mixture. Obtained powders consist of aggregates of nanoscale particles. XRD analysis shows that there are no phases of individual oxides of REE, aluminum and iron. This result indicates the completeness of solid state reactions.
