Abstract. When geotechnical studies for the construction of buildings and structures on eluvial soils widespread in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan , is often necessary to determine the mechanical characteristics of clay soils with COARSE inclusions. Despite the considerable amount of the research , the patterns of their strength has not yet been studied adequately . This applies mainly to data on the rheological properties of soils , in particular, on the impact of the content of rock inclusions , their size, shape , mutual arrangement , as well as mechanical features and inclusions on aggregate characteristics of their long-term strength .
