В статье обоснована эффективность контейнеризации промышленных грузов. Процесс перевозки грузов в контейнерах представлен в виде системы взаимосвязанных потоков, определены их характеристики и параметры. Для управления системой контейнерных перевозок разработан алгоритм и базовая математическая модель. Данная статья подготовлена при финансовой поддержке Министерства образования и науки Челябинской области РФ.

Main tendency in Russian and world transporting processes development is active growing of container shipping [3, 4, 6]. According to experts accounts world freight containerization rate equals 63% (over all freight carries) and annual growing arrange 1-2%. Limit rate of freight containerization, up to expert opinion, is 70% [2].
High efficiency of container shipping applying beside alternative ways of transporting is proved by calculations and confirmed by practice. For example, application of container shipping steel products by railway transport provides cargo operation period reduction during transporting up to 25% in comparison with open-top wagon shipment as well as transport costs by 13% [1, 3]. As a consequence, lately within conclusion of contracts increasingly consumes from domestic and foreign markets refer to supply conditions according to classification «Incoterms-2000» and prefer container shipping. Comparative analysis of values for different means (different types of stock) of freight carrying is resulted in table 1.
